You don't have to say anything, just get on board and you'll understand.
80 meters high?
25 floors, right?
With a piece of twine?
My feet are hanging off the floor?
79.5 meters below your feet?
360 degrees with no obstruction.
I thought I was just floating in the sky.
I felt like I was a GoPro before I even started shooting.
I mean, the more you talk about this kind of thing, the more it smells fishy, doesn't it? Aren't there any ramen shops with a lot of descriptions and menus that never have a good taste?
Just try it before you say anything else.
You'll see what I mean.
That's not an explanation at all, is it?
Just ride it and you'll understand.
I'm going to ride it again when I go to Guam.
I had skydiving experience, so I kind of had an idea of what to expect. I thought it would be for beginners.
Oh, it sounds like I'm talking from above. Sorry.
My girlfriend insisted on riding with me, so I went along for the ride. To be honest, I didn't want to do it, but I thought, well, what the heck.
Skydiving is jumping from more than 4000 meters up in the sky. The fall is at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour, as I recall. 200 kilometers per hour from a height of 4,000 meters. Can you imagine that?
So when I heard that it was 80 meters high, I thought, “What? It's just floating, right?”.
I wasn't expecting it at all.
The parasailing I took in Guam was the type where you hang from a parachute by a harness.
It looks like there is a type that allows you to sit on a bench seat, but for me, I definitely recommend the harness.
Especially if you ride with her.
The seat type may be a little more stable, but in that one, we sit side by side. With the harness type, she sits in front of me.
So what? I don't know, but when I saw her excitedly hugging me from behind, I thought, well, you know... that's what I mean.
Before we went to Guam, when she was looking at this site in Japan, I had no eye on it at all, but when we actually got on it, it was a whole lot of fun.
This was not what I was comparing it to in the first place, because the feeling of floating instead of falling is very different from skydiving. My apologies.
I thought it would be nice to ride alone and have a good view because there is no one in front of me. But if I were going to ride it anyway, I would probably want to ride it again with two people.
Parasailing is a great way to feel like a kite as it soars through the air.
The image of parasailing that I had expected before the ride was completely betrayed. In a good way.
It takes only 1.5 to 2 hours to return to your hotel. Another reason for parasailing's popularity is that it is easy to schedule, even for those who have a tight schedule during their stay. You can even join the tour before you check out on the day you return home.
